Visiting of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Canada at UEH
In June 06 2013, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Canada - Mr. Morris Rosenberg visited and worked with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). This visit is a part of series activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam - Canada (August 21st 1973 – August 21st 2013). There had Mr. Audri Mukhopadhyay, Consulate General of Canada and diplomats in Ho Chi Minh City. In host university, UEH, there had Vice president Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hoai, the International relations department, the International School of Business - ISB, and students of Executive MBA program (EMBA) – a joint training program with UQAM University - Montréal, Québec, Canada.
Mr. Morris Rosenberg discussed the priorities policies of Canadian toward Vietnam, especially in trading, education, sustainable supporting development and living environment protection. University leaders and students have highly appreciated the collaboration relationship between Vietnam and Canada from 1990 to present. In addition, they also have highly evaluated the quality of Canadian higher education and discussed the priorities in developing with Canadian partners in this area.
