Within the framework of the working program in the Netherlands from October 13 to 18, 2025, a delegation from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung – UEH Executive Vice President – conducted working sessions with key academic and research partners. These included the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) and the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM), both part of Erasmus University Rotterdam; Utrecht University; the Ocean Technology Company Pot Fishing Agency; the Catch Welfare Project; and the “Living Lab” model of the Blue Food Centre, located in the traditional fishing village of Wieringen.
On October 18, 2025, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the An Giang Provincial People's Committee officially signed a Cooperation Agreement for the 2025–2030 period. This marks a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between the university and the province, aiming to connect knowledge, promote innovation, and foster sustainable development for An Giang in the new era.
Aiming to establish Ho Chi Minh City as a regional International Financial Center (IFC), the HCMC People's Committee is implementing numerous strategic initiatives to prepare a globally-benchmarked workforce in finance and investment. In this roadmap, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has been entrusted with the pivotal role as a core member of the advisory team for the HCMC IFC's establishment and as a key academic representative for Vietnam in high-level international cooperation programs.
