In many speeches and articles, President Ho Chi Minh mentioned the issue of environmental protection with critical theoretical and practical arguments. Based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, the research group from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) aims to clarify UEH students’ awareness of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on environmental protection and actions on environmental protection toward building a green university. The study suggests solutions to improve the effectiveness of applying Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on environmental protection to environmental protection education for students, aiming to build the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City as a green university in line with the sustainable development orientation set by the Party.
