The delegation of Phenikaa University paying a working visit to UEH

On the morning of May 22th, 2024, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) welcomed the delegation of officials from Phenikaa University for a working visit.

Representatives from Phenikaa University are composed of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh - Deputy General Director of the Executive Board, Deputy Rector; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dinh - Head of International Cooperation Department; Ms. Nguyen Hong Viet - Head of Administration - Management - Equipment Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Anh Tuan - Head of Human Resources Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung Kien - Deputy Head of Science and Technology Department; MSc. Hoang Hai Hung - Deputy Head in charge of Admissions - Communications Department; MSc. Nguyen Thi Khanh Tra - Youth Union Secretary; MSc. Pham Thi Thu Ha - Head of International Cooperation Department; MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Sau - Deputy Director in charge of Student Counseling, Support and Innovation Center, and Ms. Vu Thi Thom - Specialist in Admissions - Communications Department.

Truong Minh Kiet - Head of Department of Marketing and Communication; MSc. Nguyen Van Duong - Head of Department of Student Affairs; MSc. Nguyen Thi Thuong Nho - Secretary of the UEH Youth Union.

Overview of the working session

Speaking at the reception, representing UEH's leadership, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh, Director of UEH, expressed his joy in welcoming the delegation of officials from Phenikaa University for a working visit. Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh shared: "UEH always focuses on strengthening and expanding relationships with partners both domestically and internationally, especially prestigious and quality universities, with the spirit of "Connecting the community - Spreading knowledge - Sustainable action" to bring practical values to learners and society. UEH highly appreciates the strong development of Phenikaa University in terms of scientific foundation from academia to practice and is ready to share experiences with Phenikaa University, aiming for the common development of global education."

Representing the delegation from Phenikaa University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh, Deputy Director of the Executive Board, sent warm greetings to the teachers, staff, and officials at UEH while expressing excitement for the hearty reception. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh shared: "With a commitment to continuously improving the quality of education and research, Phenikaa University always focuses on learning, improving management methods, and implementing policies to support activities and create new values for the community effectively. It is known that the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City is one of the leading quality universities in Vietnam, with a lot of experience and achievements in quality management of education, research, international cooperation, and contributions to society. Therefore, Phenikaa University wishes to visit and work at UEH to learn from the development experience, to connect and to cooperate so as to create practical values for learners and the community, and to contribute to the sustainable development of society." Through this working session, he also expressed his expectations to open up more opportunities for cooperation between the two universities in the future.

With the spirit of openness and sharing, UEH and Phenikaa University exchanged experiences in university management listed as management activities, quality assurance in education and research, international cooperation, communications, infrastructure, and student care and support activities, etc.

The exchange session opened up more opportunities for deep and wide-ranging cooperation to promote cooperation in education, research, and knowledge transfer between the two universities. With the positive and effective outcomes of this exchange, it is hoped that the relationship between UEH and Phenikaa University will become even better, contributing to the overall development of education nationwide.
