The Asia-Pacific International Education Conference and Exhibition (APAIE) officially opens
The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) is an international education association established in Seoul (South Korea) in 2004 by a group of 13 universities, with the aim of spreading the value of education; strengthening cooperation among educational institutions; supporting and promoting international cooperation and exchange programs and activities; and connecting educational organizations in the region with the world.
The event brings together a wide range of representatives from ministries, educational organizations, universities, research institutes, and global education enterprises, creating opportunities for countries, including Vietnam, to introduce their educational potential, enhance international cooperation, and share policies and development strategies in the context of increasingly intense global competition in education.

The UEH delegation exchanges cooperation activities at the event
At APAIE 2026, UEH participated in conference sessions, presented policies on attracting engagement in the field of education, and organized meetings and discussions with international partners to expand cooperation in training, research, and academic exchange. These activities not only contributed to promoting the quality of Vietnamese education but also supported the enhancement of international student recruitment, access to global investment resources, and the attraction of experts and scientists for long-term collaboration. Specifically, UEH met with partners from Macau, Singapore, the United States, Canada, Germany, Romania, and others, exchanging discussions on the following areas:
Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director General of the International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Education and Training, shared: “Vietnam’s first appearance as a ‘National Pavilion’ at APAIE 2026 is not merely a promotional activity, but a strategic step toward realizing the vision of positioning Vietnam as a new international research and training hub of the region.”
As one of the pioneering Vietnamese higher education institutions in the internationalization of education, UEH’s participation in APAIE 2026 affirms its commitment to expanding global cooperation, contributing to enhancing the position and reputation of Vietnamese higher education on the regional and global education map. This activity opens up numerous new opportunities for cooperation in training, research, and academic exchange, and serves as an important stepping stone for UEH to further promote international integration, create sustainable value for learners and the global education community, and project the image of UEH as a proactive, flexible, and internationally integrated academic partner.
