UEH SUMMER CAMP 2024: Student exchange program between campuses of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Partner Schools in Mid-semester 2024 at UEH Vinh Long Campus

On the morning of July 15, 2024, the Student Exchange Program between campuses of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and Partner Schools in Mid-Semester 2024 - UEH SUMMER CAMP 2024 was opened at UEH Vinh Long Campus.

This is an annual program organized by UEH. In 2024, “ UEH Summer Camp” is held from July 15 to 31, 2024 with the participation of 124 students from the University of Economics - University of Danang; Nha Trang University and students studying at UEH campuses. UEH Summer Camp 2024 creates opportunities for exchange and learning, connecting students at campuses of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and among UEH students and students nationwide.

Attending the program, on behalf of UEH main campus, there were Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung - Deputy Head of School of Information Technology for Business; Mr. Phung Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of Department of Environmental, Agricultural and Resource Economics, School of Economics; Mr. Duong Ngoc Thang - Program Director, School of Tourism.

On behalf of Vinh Long Campus, there was the participation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thy Lieu - Permanent Deputy Director of VLC; Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh - Deputy Director of VLC; Mr. Ho Thien Quyen - Deputy Director of VLC; Leaders of Departments, Schools, and Centers of UEH Vinh Long Campus, lecturers of Nha Trang University, lecturers of various programs and all students of the UEH Summer Camp 2024.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thy Lieu - Permanent Deputy Director of VCL - sent her congratulations to the students who registered the UEH Summer Camp 2024: “I believe this is a good opportunity for students from different schools to exchange, to experience and to accumulate practical experience at a special training campus of UEH in the Mekong Delta region. Upon participating in the program, students will experience learning and assessment in a unified manner according to the outline specified in the UEH training program in a multicultural, multi-regional environment; participate in extracurricular programs listed as the Mekong Field Trip, skill training activities, exchange activities to immerse themselves in "A day as a volunteer student of economics 2024" at the Vinh Long. From the success of UEH Summer Camp 2023, I believe that with 03 weeks of studying and training here, students will have a meaningful summer, connecting, nurturing thinking, knowledge and have many good impressions."

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Duong Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Deputy Head of Training Department - presented some contents of UEH Summer Camp 2024 including: Intra- and extracurricular programs, with the following contents: Participation in the RTD International Conference, Mekong Field Trip, skill training and exchange activities at Vinh Long Campus.

At the Opening Ceremony, on behalf of the students participating in the UEH Summer Camp 2024, student Nguyen Tran Nhat Minh from Nha Trang University remarked: “UEH Summer Camp 2024 will be a completely new challenging experience but also extremely exciting for each of the student. In the next 3 weeks, with dynamic schedules, we will definitely have many opportunities to better understand the people, culture and cuisine of the Southwest region, while also cultivating useful knowledge and thinking for ourselves. Listening to the teachers' sharing regarding the meaning of UEH Summer Camp 2024, we promise to strive to study and to improve our knowledge and actively participate in activities to practice our skills."
