From April 25 to April 27, 2025, the International Creativity and Innovation Award – ICIA Global 2025, initiated by Krya Global (Indonesia) and co-organized with the School of Technology and Design, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), and the National Startup Support Center (NSSC), was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City. The event gathered over 400 delegates from more than 20 countries. With the theme "Empowering Youth Innovation for a Sustainable Future," this year’s award focused on fostering innovative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and creative solutions to address global challenges.

On April 20, 2025, at the opening ceremony of the National Startup Day for students and pupils for the seventh time, the UEH Institute of Innovation (UII) under the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, recognizing its outstanding contributions to supporting students in starting their own businesses, thereby contributing to the promotion of the national innovative startup ecosystem during the period of 2017–2025.

On the morning of March 8, 2025, Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition Roadshow 2025 (LKYGBPC Roadsshow 2025) introduction program was successfully held at Hall B1.302, Campus B UEH, attracting over 200 students, young startup founders and industry experts. The event was co-organized by UEH Institute of Innovation, Institute of Smart City and Management - UEH College of Technology and Design, and the SMU Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with the support of the Business Startup Support Center (BSSC). This program not only helps startups gain a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial journey, technology commercialization and fundraising strategy, but also provides opportunities to connect with influential individuals and organizations within the innovation ecosystem.
