ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for assisting in developing and delivering the Company’s strategy through the provision of the financial advice and management information as well as the development of financial knowledge and commercial awareness across the business.

Reports to: Finance Manager

Reporting Level: Mid-Level Management

Geographic Scope: Local

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Daily review of all postings related to the AR and AP transactions.
  • Manage all GL postings and review monthly actuals of statutory accounts.
  • Review and ensure all financial accounting records are accurate.
  • Assist Finance Manager in preparation periodical statutory, group financial statements
  • Preparing financial statements following VAS and IFRS standards.
  • Responsible for annual reviews and supports others operations functions in term of internal policy and procedure.
  • Support on working with internal audit, external audit, tax for AR/AP, GL
  • Provide staff with regular coaching to enable them to perform their tasks competently and efficiently.

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Do you have prior experience in finance & accounting?
  • Do you have a Tertiary Education qualification in the related field?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experienced in preparing financial statements.
  • 3 years’ of experience in reputable company
  • In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, Vietnam Accounting Standards, IFRS.
  • Good working knowledge of key elements of the Operation.
  • Good knowledge of common application software, such as spreadsheet and word processing. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
  • Good command of English
  • Good inter-personal skills in dealing with internal and external customers/contacts at all level

 

BENEFICIAL

  • Great to have experience in working with SAP
  • Good English communication skills highly regarded
