Skretting has production facilities in 18 countries on five continents and manufactures and delivers high quality feeds from hatching to harvest for more than 60 species. The total annual production volume of feed is more than 2.4 million tonnes. The head office is located in Stavanger, Norway.

We’re looking for an Accountant as following:

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Trade account payable (for Raw materials & packaging purchase)
– Vendors master data as per the standard procedure.
– Check and book trade AP invoices
– Reconcile supplier sub-ledgers and general ledgers
– Balance reconciliation with suppliers ledgers
– Trade AP reporting and payment proposals.
– VAT input list of trade AP for providing to VAT reporting
– Nondeductible expenses list as for trade AP related items (if any)
 
2. Non-trade account payable (for operating expenses – OPEX)
– Vendors master data as per the standard procedure.
– Understanding deeply OPEX policy & procedure as well as other company’s relevant policy & procedures.
– Check and book non-trade AP invoices in according to OPEX & related policy & procedure of the company
– Understand OPEX allocation keys to book correctly OPEX to PNL.
– Payment proposals as per due time of invoices
– Coordinate with Treasury team to ensure approved payments proposal proceed well.
– Preparing account payable reports
– Reconcile supplier sub-ledgers and general ledgers
– Balance reconciliation with suppliers ledgers
 
3. Inventory
– Items master data maintenance as per the standard procedure.
– Reconciliation b/w sub-ledgers and general ledgers
– Implementation of Stock count, minutes and inventory adjustments
– Good in transit reconciliation and booking
– VAT input list of trade AP for providing to VAT reporting
– Other Ad-hoc tasks
 
REQUIRMENTS
· Recognized qualifications in Accounting, with a Bachelor of Art or equivalent
· Minimum 1 years experiences with strong technical accounting skills.
· Technology savvy with experience in ERP System. ERP of M3 is an advance.
· English skills: intermediate level, understanding accounting terminology.
· Computer skills: excellent Excel skills.
· Self-starter and good team player with professional behavior
