UEH promotes several policies especially for PhD candidates

In order to implement the 6th differentiation strategies of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and make way to the QS Asia University Ranking, our university has developed a handful of special policies to boost the international announcement within the context of global knowledge contribution. Specifically, UEH always pays great attention to the enhancement in quality of PhD candidates, motivates and encourages them in their researches in English, with the participation of international professors in the act of international announcement as well. Recently, on 22nd November 2018, UEH enacted the new Regulations over the working conditions of PhD candidates studying in full-time in UEH with a rich variety of priorities.

World speakers joined the UEH-NTU workshop on university governance: Special issues on QS ranking

On 19th - 20th February 2019, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City co-operates with the Nanyang Technological University to host an experience-sharing workshop over the topic of university governance, international ranking. The Nanyang Technological University is one of the world successful universities, ranked 12th position in the QS World University Ranking. Hence, this workshop will be a forum for UEH lecturers and teachers to approach, share and exchange regulations in ranking methods, research methodologies, human resource management…in order to provide support for UEH in putting its name on these international ranking over the next few years.

On 16th February, 2019, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - President of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has officially been a member of the Advisory Board of the Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) together with other professors from regional and world most accredited universities such as Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) and SungKuynKwan University (Korea). This contributes greatly to the status of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in the education and training of economics and law within the Asian region.
