From September 03–05, 2025, a delegation from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) attended the 2nd Regional Conference of the Digital Skills to Succeed in Asia Network (DS2S), co-organized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Leipzig University in Leipzig, Federal Republic of Germany. Under the theme “Innovating Together: Shaping Education in the Digital Age,” the event brought together 165 delegates from 25 countries, including leaders of universities and research institutes within the DS2S and iN4iN networks, global technology corporations such as HP, IBM, and CISCO, and international organizations including the OECD and DAAD. The conference served as a multidimensional networking space, fostering the exchange of ideas, collaboration models, and the expansion of sustainable linkages among education, enterprises, communities, and government.

Continuing the quality assurance and program accreditation process at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), on September 10 and 11, 2025, UEH collaborated with the international higher education quality assurance organization FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) to conduct accreditation of four academic programs under FIBAA standards at UEH. The programs assessed include Bachelor of Finance – Banking – Finance program, Bachelor of Finance – Banking – Banking program, Bachelor of Finance – Banking – Public Finance program, and Bachelor of Investment Economics.

In August 2025, The Vietnam - Japan Youth Exchange Program 2025 (VJYE 2025), jointly organized by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Tokyo Keizai University (TKU), concluded successfully with many meaningful experiences. With the theme “Sustainable Minds, Global Ties”, the program offered students from both countries valuable opportunities centered on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of its ongoing commitment to quality assurance and program accreditation, from August 26-28, 2025, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), in collaboration with the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), conducted an online accreditation for three of its training programs according to FIBAA standards. The programs undergoing accreditation in this second phase of 2025 were the Bachelor of Risk Analysis and Actuarial Science, the Bachelor of Management Information Systems, and the Bachelor of Financial Mathematics.
