[Research Contribution] The Impact of “Greenwashing” on Green Consumption Intentions Among the Young Generation

Amid the influence of social media and the green consumption wave, consumers today have greater access to and scrutiny over brand information, particularly regarding corporate social and environmental responsibility. This compels businesses not only to communicate sustainability effectively but also to act genuinely in favor of sustainable development. However, in practice, many companies use “green” messaging in a superficial or misleading manner – commonly referred to as “greenwashing” – causing consumers to question and lose trust in brands. In response to this context, a study by a researcher from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) analyzed how young consumers perceive and react to greenwashing behavior, thereby clarifying its impact on sustainable consumption intentions.

[Research Contribution] The Impact of Factors Influencing the Successful Implementation of Cloud ERP Systems on Organizational Performance

A research study conducted by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) explores the relationship between organizational, technological, and environmental factors in the successful implementation of cloud-based enterprise resource planning (Cloud ERP) systems, and their subsequent impact on organizational performance. Drawing from survey data collected from 336 enterprises across Ho Chi Minh City, the study applies a quantitative research method using questionnaires and analyzes the data with PLS-SEM techniques via SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that three key contextual factors—organization, environment, and technology—play a decisive role in the successful adoption of Cloud ERP, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and overall enterprise performance.

In late May 2025, the UEH Institute of Innovation (UII) finalized the steps for the publication of a research study with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and relevant stakeholders. The research project on the Youth Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Vietnam was officially launched on the UNDP Viet Nam official website on International Youth Day, August 12.

On August 18-19, 2025, Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency (VQA-MOET), ASEAN University Network Secretariat, Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre specialising in higher education and development (SEAMEO RIHED), and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) successfully organized the international workshop "Internal Quality Assurance Implementation - for The Sustained Future of ASEAN Higher Education" was successfully organized. The conference aimed to bridge the gap between the perception and practical implementation of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) systems within higher education institutions. Furthermore, it sought to promote an effective and sustainable IQA model in Vietnam and across ASEAN region.
