UEH - CTD Signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design, China

On May 29, 2024, UEH College of Technology and Design (CTD), a member of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), officially signed a strategic Momorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design, Beijing, China. This event was to promote cooperation between the two leading educational institutions of the two countries to facilitate the exchange of lecturers, students, and research between the two parties.

Tsinghua University is ranked as Asia's leading university and in the Top 12 in the world according to THE (Times Higher Education) rankings. In particular, the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design ranks 18^th in the world in the field of art and design in 2023. With this reputation and top quality, the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design promises to be a strategic partner, benefitting UEH CTD students.

This MoU opens up many new learning and research opportunities, contributing to improving the reputation and teaching quality of UEH CTD lecturers with international partners. Both parties are committed towards building an innovative academic and research environment, aiming for sustainable and comprehensive development. Some activities have reached agreement, listed as UEH ArtTech Fusion 2024 held in October 2024, Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design will be involved as a co-organizer. It is known that the Academy of Arts and Design is the co-organizer of the Olympic Games Beijing 2022.

This signing ceremonyis a testament to the constant efforts of UEH in general and CTD in particular in expanding the international partner network, improving the quality of education and research, and equipping students the skills and knowledge necessary towards becoming a global citizen in the modern world.

In addition to the MoU with Tsinghua University, UEH-CTD has established educational cooperation relationships with prestigious universities around the world. Notable partners include Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), Saint Joseph University (Macau), Universiti Sains Malaysia (Malaysia), Pantheon Institute of Design & Technology (Italy), Dongseo University, Kwangwoon University (Korea), etc. These cooperative relationships not only open up new academic and research opportunities but also help improve the quality of teaching CTD-UEH students to become professionals with a global perspective.
