UEH Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding with Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (HIPC) for the Period 2024 - 2026

On the morning of August 27, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (HIPC). This is the second time UEH and HIPC have signed a cooperation agreement, affirming a strong relationship and mutually beneficial cooperation in training, recruitment, and career orientation activities.

Overview of the signing ceremony

In 2018, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (HIPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on training, recruitment and career orientation. For 5 years of implementation, the two sides have worked together on many activities listed as training according to business needs, student recruitment programs and so on. With the success and effectiveness of recent cooperation activities, UEH and HIPC decided to continue signing a Memorandum of Understanding for the new period 2024 - 2026.

Attending the MOU signing ceremony, on behalf of Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (HIPC), there was the presence of Mr. Giang Ngoc Phuong - Deputy General Director; Ms. Tran Thi Kim Tuyen - Director of Customer Care Department; Mr. Luu Quang Hung - Director of Project Development; and Mr. Huong Xuan Tan - Director of Sales and Marketing Department.

On behalf of UEH, there was the participation of Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH; Mr. Truong Minh Kiet - Head of Department of Marketing and Communication; Mr. Nguyen Van Duong - Head of Department of Student Affairs; and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Son - Vice Head of Department of Undergraduate Training.

Expressing his joy at the Signing Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh remarked: “Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company is one of the important partners that has always accompanied the UEH in the past time. Through the MoU signed between the two parties in 2018, many meaningful activities have been implemented, bringing practical benefits to enterprises, UEH, and students. With the re-signing of the Memorandum of Understanding this time, we hope the company will continue to accompany and closely connect with the UEH to inherit and further promote the achievements that the two parties have built in the past time.”

Mr. Giang Ngoc Phuong - Deputy General Director of Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company - shared: “Carrying out the mission of developing an industrial park for the Vietnamese, Hiep Phuoc has quickly approached the industrial development model, fully meeting the laws, continuing the successes in the previous cooperation period. Hiep Phuoc hopes to create a combined strength with UEH, helping to connect the story of training and research with the story of practice to benefit the community, students, businesses, and society. The signing today will certainly open up more practical programs between the two sides to create solid cooperation and mutual development. ”

At the Ceremony, UEH and HIPC agreed on the following cooperation contents:

1. Connecting training with practice through Internship/Business Semester programs, Business Visit tours, nominating experts to share practice, skills training, and knowledge transferring to businesses;

2. Connecting to carry out research projects according to orders from businesses;

3. Connecting and attracting human resources through the UEH Sharing - Career Fair series, spreading the brand of enterprises to a large number of UEH students;

4. Joining us in the program “Giving to UEH - For a More Sustainable Future”.

Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (HIPC) is one of the largest and most modern industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City. The signing of the memorandum of understanding with Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (HIPC), once again, demonstrates UEH’s strategic orientation of strengthening connection and coordination for sustainable goals in the fields of education as well as society.
