Online Student Support and Workspace - UEH Youth Metaverse was conceived and built in early September 202, using digital technology on the Gather.Town platform. This is the first new technology solution applied at UEH as well as in Union - Association work at universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City.

The online workspace and consultation allow simulating the working space at B2 campus of Union - Association in reality, actively designing more virtual spaces to serve UEHer’ needs. Overcoming the difficulties and the barriers of ‘social distancing’ caused by the epidemic, this solution has helped the Union - Union of UEH to run Union - Association work and youth movement smoothly, ensuring the information system timeliness in the organizational apparatus as well as helping UEH new students have the opportunity to approach and visualize Union - Association in particular and UEH in general in terms of the current online learning context.

This is an initiative that has never been applied at UEH and in Vietnam before. [12] Wishairer Tree

The Wish Tree Project is a product that combines a physical tree made by applying 3D printing technology combined with wood, steel and so on to become a work of art that is both iconic and iconic as well as to connect with AR and VR technology so that officials, learners and visitors can send wishes and messages via the app; concurrently, using the app to scan the physical wish tree at the facility to see the content of the wish.

Located in the lobby of UEH Campus, this is considered a work of art combining a resting space, creating a highlight for the landscape of the campus of a higher education institution.

[13] Building a support system for online teaching and learning for middle and high schools nationwide

With the desire to share and transfer digital transformation experiences in teaching and learning activities for high schools, especially schools with geographical restrictions and difficulties in implementing online teaching and learning, UEH has built an online teaching and learning support system for middle and high schools nationwide with ‘UEH Global Learning’ name. The project has 06 main products including: (1) Teaching and learning online; (2) Organizing essay and online multiple-choice tests, (3) Mixing exam questions and paper-based multiple-choice answers, (4) Organizing online high school graduation exam preparation course, (5) Organizing Personality test program, career choice and (6) Admission counseling function.

In 2021, this community project has been implemented for 18 provinces and cities in Mekong Delta with more than 100 participating middle schools and high schools and more than 6,000 accounts in use. The project will continue to be edited and upgraded with advanced completion to better serve continuously the schools that are using it and to prepare for continued deployment in the enrollment season in 2022.

[14] Construction and deployment of Living Lab Zero Waste Campus

The Living Lab Zero Waste Campus Project is implemented as a ‘living laboratory’ with the expectation of correct classification, waste collection and treatment solutions that convert the most waste into resources, as well as the combination of scientific research, teaching and activities for creativity and community connection.

UEHZW Living lab initiates proactive empowerment for students to become global citizens who are acting for sustainable development through active participation in the project from the very first days, researching - studying, acting as well as spreading. This project helps future generations to understand and to act ‘zero-waste’ not only for the environment but also to develop a circular economy. UEHZW Living lab will be implemented from 2021-2025 with 04 important phases to create green UEH citizens, green partners and green communities as well as officially become a Zero Waste Campus in 2025.

Implementing the restructuring strategy is an important and inevitable decision for the maintenance and promotion of UEH achievements over the past 45 years, a requirement of the global era context and a mission contributing to human knowledge as well as UEH responsibility to the society and the country. All UEHers, with inherent traditional values and strengths along with community cohesion, will work together to achieve the same expectations and results as the previous generations, spreading knowledge values to aim for the sustainable development of the society.
