Closing Ceremony of the Training Course on E-commerce for the Board of Directors and Management Staff of Hoa Sen Group

On the afternoon of December 21, 2024, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with Hoa Sen Group to organize the Closing Ceremony of the "E-Commerce Training Course" for leaders and managers of Hoa Sen Group as a milestone in training cooperation and knowledge sharing between the two sides.

Attending the Closing Ceremony, on behalf of UEH, there were Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh - President of UEH; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Son - Deputy Head of Department of Training; Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh - Deputy Head of Department of Communications and Partnerships; and Mr. Dang Thai Thinh - Deputy Head of Department of Facilities Management.

On behalf of Hoa Sen Group, there were Mr. Tran Dinh Tai – Deputy General Director of the Group, in charge of Marketing Hoa Sen Home; Mr. Nguyen Tran Dai – Deputy General Director of the Group, in charge of Hoa Sen Home Business; and trainees who are Directors, Deputy Directors, Heads of product lines, Heads of departments, and Heads of related departments involved.

Overview of the Closing Ceremony

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the course, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh – President of UEH - remarked: “One measure to improve the quality of university training in Vietnam in general and UEH in particular is to connect with businesses. Connecting with businesses is a way for all parties to support each other in training, research, resources and sharing with each other about achievements and experiences. This course originated from the concerns of Hoa Sen Group about developing e-commerce, which is the motivation for UEH to study, research and build a program with 06 topics and lectures suitable to the current needs and reality of businesses. ”

Representing Hoa Sen Group, Mr. Tran Dinh Tai - Deputy General Director of the Group, in charge of Marketing Hoa Sen Home and also a student of the course - shared at the Closing Ceremony: “I would like to express my sincere thanks to the lecturers who participated in teaching many practical and useful sessions. The birth of the Hoa Sen Home brand is the driving force for the Group to constantly update and catch up with the inevitable trends in today's business, especially e-commerce. The Group hopes to expand long-term cooperation with UEH and deploy more courses for middle managers and many other fields such as accounting and human resources. ”

At the Closing Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Son - Deputy Head of Department of Training - announced the decision regarding completion and grant course certificates to 14 learners with 04 of them ranked excellent, 10 ranked Good, and certificates of participation in the course on "E-commerce for leaders and managers of Hoa Sen Group".

"E-commerce training course for Hoa Sen Group leaders" is organized in the form of face-to-face learning at the Group's representative office. In addition to the courses in cooperation with businesses, UEH and Hoa Sen Group also have important cooperation in the period of 2024 - 2027 related to (1) Connecting training linked to practice with internship, practicum, and business semester programs for students, cooperating in training and sharing knowledge with businesses; (2) Connecting recruitment cooperation programs at Career Fair events, spreading the recruitment brand of businesses and supporting in resource programs; (3) Accompanying the program "Giving to UEH - For a More Sustainable Future" to nurture talent and spread knowledge; and (4) Connecting to carry out research, projects and other exchange and cooperation programs.

With nearly 50 years of establishment and development, UEH has continuously promoted their training strengths by coordinating the development of short-term training programs to update knowledge for leaders and senior managers of businesses, especially those with state and defense capital. With the success of the recent course, it is hoped that UEH and Hoa Sen Group will continue to coordinate to create useful training courses for the Group's personnel in the future.
