Leading universities in Asia and Europe officially offer nearly 90 scholarships and tuition fee waivers to support students from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in the international student exchange program. In addition, UEH facilitates the accumulation of Study Encouragement Scholarships into this program to give students additional funding. Therefore, each student's learning experience at UEH will become diverse and meaningful with short-term and long-term international study periods, which are the door to getting acquainted, joining and becoming citizens working in a global environment.

In order to evaluate Vietnam's sustainable economic development strategy before the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, in 2021, by measuring the level of CO2 emissions, the student research team of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has carried out the research topic "The impact of socio-economic indicators on CO2 emissions in Vietnam from 1990 to 2018". This was the foundation for researching and developing sustainable development policies in Vietnam.
