UEH Implementing Authenticated Electronic Document Service

With digitalization-promoting strategies in education, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has unstoppably exploited and applied information technology to the process of management and operation aiming to advance the quality of services, caring and supportive activities for learners, guarantee to satisfy efficiently all demands of learners. Since March 2022, UEH has deployed services providing authenticated electronic documents directly on Student Portal https://student.ueh.edu.vn/ for learners and alumni to verify documents and files related to their learning and practicing processes at UEH (Learner Confirmation, Academic Transcripts, Training Transcripts, and so on) or request supports from UEH in case of the unability to log in the Student Portal.

Issuing and verifying electronic documents rapidly and conveniently

Recently, UEH has received approximately 50 to 200 registration forms for issuing documents and files every day to serve for personal purposes on Electronic Services Website https://es.ueh.edu.vn/. With the aim of responding to the increasing demands of learners and alumni, UEH has applied digital technology to provide the authenticated electronic document service via the Student Portal System of UEH. Accordingly, users only need to access their personal accounts to print themself or directly send them to the email addresses of individuals/organizations rapidly and conveniently, which saves more time and costs compared to requesting the sealed document service previously. Individuals and organizations using authenticated electronic documents of UEH can look up and verify the information on the website https://student.ueh.edu.vn/e-confirm.

UEH implements the authenticated electronic document with the following files:

  • Student Confirmation for Modes/Levels to supplement personal records;
  • Confirmation of completion for training programs;
  • Confirmation of students’ course debts;
  • Academic Transcripts for Modes/Levels in English and Vietnamese language;
  • Introduction Letters for interns regarding data collection surveys;
  • Provisional Certificate of Graduation;
  • Bilingual Student Training Transcripts;
  • Bilingual Student Scholarship Certificates.

In the upcoming time, depending on the demands of learners, UEH will monitor and supplement more products related to learning and practicing processes at UEH.

Dr. Bui Quang Hung - Vice President of UEH shared: “UEH is making more and more efforts to positively change the procedure of applying technology to the management system and serving learners to design more necessarily supportive services so as to obtain the dual goals which are to respond quickly and promptly to the demands of learners while reducing the burden of administrative procedures and costs for managers and users towards UEH not providing paper document verification services, but replacing to providing only authenticated electronic documents except for the case being obligated to issue documents in accordance with the request of using organizations”.

The display of the service designed conveniently for users

Simple processing and classifying procedures in accordance with user objectives

Group 1: For students and learners who are studying or alumni who graduated from UEH within 1 year.

Group 2: In terms of alumni who have graduated more than 1 year and were enrolled in 2009 (full-time mode) or 2016 (part-time mode) or 2011 (postgraduate) to the present time.

  • Case 1: Remembering student ID numbers/ passwords to sign in to the Student Portal, conducting the steps equivalent to Group 1.
  • Case 2: Forgetting student ID numbers/ passwords to sign in to the Student Portal, registering to issue on UEH Electronic Services Website https://es.ueh.edu.vn/ to use 1 of 2 services reissuing passwords or authenticated electronic documents and sending direct emails to personal addresses of using individuals/ organizations in accordance with the provided information.

Group 3: Additional cases

Registering on the UEH Electronic Service Website https://es.ueh.edu.vn/. UEH will issue authenticated electronic documents and send them directly to the personal email addresses of using individuals/ organizations in accordance with the registered information.
