On December 15, 2023, at Campus A - 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, District 3, a working session took place between the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS). This was an activity within the framework of the series to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Vietnam - Netherlands Program (VNP). The Vietnam - Netherlands Program is an international cooperation program in education that aims to improve the quality of higher education and research in Vietnam through academic exchange and cooperation. The meeting served as a platform for both organizations to discuss achievements and challenges, and to explore new collaboration opportunities.

On the morning of December 21, 2023, at the Kien Giang Province Political School, UEH coordinated with the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Kien Giang Province Political School to solemnly organize the opening ceremony of the Fostering Program for Leaders and Managers Having Skills to Work in International Environments in Kien Giang 2023 with the theme "Improving leadership and management capacity to promote competitiveness and sustainable development for the locality in the context of global economic integration" for 40 Directors/Deputy Directors of Departments, Heads/Deputy Heads of Departments under the People's Council/People's Committee, Chairman/Vice Chairman of the People's Committees of the districts/cities under Kien Giang province.
