The event created a warm and vibrant space for international students at UEH to gather, share traditional cultures of their home countries, and strengthen the bond between students from all three nations together with UEH lecturers and staff.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the Reunification of the Country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 139th Anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025), the People's Committee of Vinh Long Province has directed the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vinh Long to coordinate with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and relevant units to organize the "Vinh Long Open Half Marathon 2025 - Journey of the Mekong Heart," which will take place on April 27, 2025, in Vinh Long Province. This event is not only a sporting activity responding to the movement of physical fitness following the great Uncle Ho's example, but it is also a notable highlight within the framework of the Vinh Long Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week 2025.
