Workshop on Language Teacher Preparation for an AI World

During the past two days November 28-29, 2023, the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the School of Foreign Languages, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) to organize a workshop on Language Teacher Preparation for an AI World with a presentation by Dr. Robert Godwin-Jones that attracted approximately 40 internal and external UEH English lecturers.

Workshop on career orientation in the AI era

On November 30th, at Avenue B1.205, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the School of Banking, successfully organized a career orientation workshop - Future of Finance in the Age of AI. To help students have a comprehensive view of the impact of AI on the labor market, as well as exchange, learn, and answer questions about this model with many experts in the field. At the Workshop, speakers shared the development trends of finance and banking and career orientation in the AI era, such as essential knowledge and skills for students. They also shared valuable advice and experiences to help students prepare better for their future careers.

The Mystique Of Luxury Brands Conference – MLB 2023

Following the success of organizing international conferences in countries such as Japan, Singapore, Korea, Australia,... College of Business, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and Luxury Brandings Research Center, Curtin University (Australia) co-organized the international conference "Mystique Of Luxury Brands - MLB 2023" on November 9-10, 2023 at Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. More than 200 researchers from 15 different countries attended the conference.

UEH Successfully Achieving the 25th Euréka Award 2023

On November 24, 2023, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Thu Duc Campus), the 25th Euréka Award took place. The student group from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) excellently received 5 awards in the fields of Economics and Planning and Architecture and Construction.

Implementing the policy of internationalization in training and research, UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (CELG-UEH) has worked and exchanged academic experiences with lecturers and researchers from different countries. From November 16, 2023 - November 18, 2023, CELG-UEH met and worked with Professor Mindy Chen-Wishart at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Former Dean of Oxford Law Faculty, currently an honorary professor at Oxford University, who would share the results of her research and teaching experience in law.

Signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between UEH College of Business and Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank

On November 24, 2023, UEH College of Business held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) for the period 2023 - 2026, opening a period of extensive and comprehensive cooperation in many fields such as Awarding VPBank Talent Scholarships, supporting student internships, organizing visits to the bank, organizing seminars/workshops, thematic activities, career guidance and skill development, connecting and implementing project research and other training support activities that are the strengths of the two sides in each period.

During two days November 3-4, 2023, UEH College of Economics, Law and Government (UEH–CELG) and EfD - Vietnam organized an in-depth workshop on Randomized Control Trials (RCTs) with the participation of 32 researchers from many universities and research institutes.
